Ale's turning 7 !!!

So what kinds of questions does Ale ask now?? Brent, Ale, and I were at a restaurant last week and Ale wanted to know what a "spit ball" was. Somewhere she heard about a game called "spit ball" and wanted to know the mechanics of it. How do you explain that to a kid? The best way to teach is by doing it...so I did. I know, that is gross and Mommy should give her a better example, but I also need to answer her questions before someone else does (Mommy pride)! So I explained every detail to her while Daddy couldn't believe his eyes...yes, his daughter was learning how to make a spit ball. Naively, I thought I could explain it and it would be over. No, Ale wanted to take matters into her own hands and practice her new acquired skill. Luckily, we managed to keep her under control, and although I was proud of myself for teaching her something, I realized it was a bad, bad, bad idea!

We will be closing on the Peter Pan house at the end of April. We are sooooo excited. Ale calls it "The Castle House". We will have a lot of work to do inside the house, but we're up for it and very happy. Can't wait to have our friends and family over!
